Job Description

As a Major Orthopaedic Scrub specializing in Lower Limb procedures such as Hips and Knees, you will be responsible for assisting surgeons during orthopaedic surgeries, ensuring that the operating room is properly set up and that all necessary instruments and equipment are available. Your expertise will be crucial in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring successful surgical outcomes.

This is a temporary position with a start date of 03/01/2025 and an end date of 03/01/2025. The shift will start at 08:00:00 and end at 18:00:00, with a competitive payment rate of £370.10 per shift.

As a Major Orthopaedic Scrub, your duties will include:

• Preparing the operating room for surgery


• Assisting the surgical team during procedures


• Maintaining a sterile environment in the operating room


• Ensuring that all necessary instruments and equipment are available


• Providing support to patients before, during, and after surgery


• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care

This role requires a high level of technical skill and expertise in orthopaedic surgery, particularly in Lower Limb procedures. The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
